Troop 467
Girl Scout Troop 467 has many different parts,
No two the same, but all with giving hearts.
First there’s the girls, ranging in both age and height,
All fighting to talk with all of their might.
They enjoy their time together with their Girl Scout sisses,
Even though some actually are related, this poem isn’t about hits and misses!
Now here are the oldest seniors, a class of their own,
That they’re leaving this year is very widely known.
They’ve spent the most time just being around,
Helping to build the rest of us up from the ground.
We’ll miss you all like crazy, don’t you fear,
The only way to fix it is to come visit us next year!
Then there’s the parents, brave and strong,
Ready to help us move right along.
Getting us to meetings on time; or not;
Helping us out when cookie sales are hot.
A special thanks goes out to each and every dad,
Accidentally burning their fingers, and keeping Mrs. Yvette from going mad!
Now to the leaders, their time is overdue,
Helping to keep us going, working straight and true!
Mrs. Yvette is always there, our rock, our main, never for naught,
Through her we’ve all learned to speak fluent scattered-thought!
Mrs. Sandy is great, helpful, and kind,
Keeping everyone from losing their mind.
Mr. Doug is there too, helping count every kid,
He’s our second parent if everyone else has hid.
Mrs. Margaret is our amazing cookie queen,
Though tough about due dates, she’s far from mean!
Well 467, we’ve done it again,
Made it through without TOO much pain!
Just check one more time, oh! Not even a bruise,
See you all in August so we can go on our cruise!
